was it biased when Edge gave Bioshock an 8/10 when it was still an X360 exclusive? or how about the 8/10 they gave Gears of War? What about the 7/10 they gave Mass Effect? etc.
Edge is always harsh but they have no console bias so quit yer crying. They just didn't like Resistance 2 or Fallout 3 or Mirror's Edge or Socom.
The game is so over-rated. Deserves an 8/10.
Interesting theory but the original Nintendo (62 million sold) did better than the Super Nintendo (49 million sold) and the Wii will probably outsell both. The SNES was better hardware than the original but had more competition from the Sega Genesis and Turbografx.

R2 blows compared to Halo or Gears Of War.
Websites need Sony's ad money so they inflate their ratings a bit lest sony's gaming division go out of business and they lose a large chunk of revenue. They need Sony to stay in the console business so they can make more money.

it was just lucky enough to come out when there weren't a lot of next gen games out on consoles to compare it to. Games have progressed so much more since the original.
yeah, I'm sure both games are in production but that doesn't mean they're coming out in 2009. that is why he labeled them as rumored for 2009. everyone knows Sony's track record for E3 announcements.

Microsoft should be announcing a bunch of new titles at the beginning of 2009. They always wait until the year starts to give their list of new upcoming titles for that year. Sony, on the other hand, you never know. They showed a trailer for a new God Of War game at the most recent E3 but with their track record it most likely means the game will be released by 2010.
the sound is phenomonal. never heard guns sound so real and visceral in a video game.
